Wat Lanbun is famous because Thai people and tourists, especially children, feed the fish in the canal (Khlong in Thai) after paying homage to Buddha, hence the name Wat Pla: The Temple of Fish. A signboard welcomes you to “Suan Pla Tammachat Watlamboon”.
This is a conventional Thai temple with a few buildings and a small market with food and amulets. The main building hosts small golden Buddha images.
There’s also a interesting floating market located at Prawet Burirom canal.
Address: Wat Lanbun. Moo 7, Soi Lat Krabang 15, On Nut – Lat Krabang Road.
