Wat Lanbun (วัดลานบุญ in Thai) also known as Wat Pla (Fish Temple) is a Buddhist temple located in Lat Krabang, one of the 50 districts of Bangkok, very close to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Wat Lanbun is famous because Thai people and tourists, especially children, feed the fish in the canal (Khlong in Thai) after paying homage to Buddha, hence the name Wat Pla: The Temple of Fish. A signboard welcomes you to “Suan Pla Tammachat Watlamboon”.

This is a conventional Thai temple with a few buildings and a small market with food and amulets. The main building hosts small golden Buddha images.

There’s also a interesting floating market located at Prawet Burirom canal.

Address: Wat Lanbun. Moo 7, Soi Lat Krabang 15, On Nut – Lat Krabang Road.
